Day 1: La Paz - Base Camp

We pick you up at your hotel and drive for about 2 ½ hours to the Toni Lagoon. From here on we start the ascent to the Chiarkota Lagoon at 5379 m at the foot of the Condoriri Mountain Range and set our camp.

 

 

Day 2: Base Camp - Summit - Base Camp

Today the first 3 hours lead us in easy ascent. We won't meet technical difficulties in that time. Afterwards we reach the "pyramid" a 55º ascent for about 80 m which we have to conquer. Then we continue 3 more hours to the summit of the Pequeño Alpamayo (5410 m). After a break on the top we descent for about 4 hours to our base camp, where we will spend the night.

 


Day 3: Base Camp - La Paz

After breakfast we hike 2 hours back to the Tuni Lagoon and drive back in car to La Paz.
