Booking requests:
On short notice requests it is possible that there will be a squeeze on hotels, domestic flights and also qualified tour guides. This especially applies if you want to travel in the high season (June to August and the Christmas holidays). The Inca Trail is also sold out very quickly in this period. For those dates we recommend you to book at least 6 months earlier. But normally you can also book on shorter notice.

Difficulty:
Low: Easy hiking with duration up to 4 hours. Gentle ascents and descents and altitude difference up to 300 m. Surefootedness and to have no fear of heights are not required.
Low to Moderate: Hikes with duration from 4 to 8 hours a day. Moderate ascents with an altitude difference up to 700 mon cross country trails. Light hiking boots are required and with no surefootedness we recommend the use of hiking sticks.
Moderate: Longer steep ascents and descents with duration up to 8 hours a day and altitude difference up to 1000 m. Good physical condition and firm hiking boots are required. The hikes require very good surefootedness. The use of hiking sticks is recommended.
Moderate to High: Longer steep ascents and descents with duration of more than 8 hours a day and altitude difference higher than 1000 m. The hikes require a very good physical condition and surefootedness as well as no fear of heights.
High: Like mentioned before but also with extreme ascents and descents which are not doable without climbing equipment and the knowledge of their handling.

We gladly book your international flight to Peru or Bolivia and also your domestic flights in these countries. Please check with us the current prices.

Hotels & Accommodation:
We carefully selected the mentioned Hotels in our tours. The hotel category is according to the local hotel classification. All rooms have a private bathroom. Possible exceptions are mentioned in the program. In some tours you will find the description "basic accommodation" which means that those are accommodations that are characterized by their simplicity and we can't guarantee a single or double room either. This means you have to be prepared to sleep in a multiple bedroom. Should a hotel not be available for your appointed date we will inform you and look for an adequate alternative. During our Trekking and Mountain Climbing programs you normally sleep in double occupancy tents.
Note: Our hotel offers are only a small selection and of course we can book a special hotel on request.

Meals:
In all itineraries you will find the included meals. The meals are oriented at the standard of the trip and the local situation. Meals during some daytrips can also be served as box lunch.

Single Traveller / Single Room:
The prices for single rooms are valid with a minimum of two persons. Most of our tours you can also bus if you travel alone. Please add to single room price the extra charge for single travelers.
