Upon arrival transfer to your hotel. In the afternoon we explore on foot the most interesting places in the center of the town during our guided city tour. We'll see the "Plaza de Armas", the cathedral, San Francisco Church dated from the 17th century in which you can find a small museum with religious artifacts. Also we'll visit the "rescue room" (Cuarto del rescate). The last Inca emperor Atahualpa wanted to fill it up one time with gold and two times with silver in exchange for his freedom.

After breakfast we drive to the archeological site of Cumbemayo. Here we'll find the well known stone forest and the aqueduct, one of the most important prehispanic work and an impressive piece of engineering. In the afternoon we'll visit the waterfalls of Llacanora and the caves of Callacpuma, where we can see some cave paintings. After that we'll drive to the hot springs called Baños del Inca.In the evening we return to Cajamarca.

In the morning we head towards the Ventanillas de Otuzco, a cemetery which offers his visitor tombs that have been carved out of the stone and from far away they look like small windows. In the afternoon we take you to the airport or the bus terminal for your travel to your next destination or flight back home.
