We will pick you up from your hotel in Arequipa at approx. 7am and drive in to Chachani to start our climbing adventure. The way brings us through Cabrerias, Cañahuas and the National Reserve of Aguada Blanca. Here we maybe can watch the wild vicuñas near El Misti and Chachani Mountain. We start at 4200 m and after 6 hours of ascent we reach our base camp at 5200 m. Here we will rest and have an early dinner cooked by our guides before we start the ascent to the summit very early next morning. |
