| Day 1: Lima - Huaraz |

In the morning departure from Lima to travel in bus/private car approx. 400 km/260 miles through Pativilca passing the impressive Conococha lagoon, where the Santa River starts. You will enjoy a fabulous view of the Cordillera Blanca before you arrive in the afternoon in Huaraz. The rest of the afternoon will be at leisure in order to acclimatize to the altitude.

| Day 2: Huaraz - Lagunas de Llanganuco - Huaraz |

Today we go on a full day excursion that offers us breathtaking views of the cordillera and its twin lakes. On short walk along the beautiful Llanganuco lakeside we can the study local flora and you will enjoy a spectacular view of the Huascaran peak, which is a perfect pyramid of snow of exceptional beauty. We return to the hotel in the afternoon, visiting typical, picturesque towns on route. |

| Day 3: Huaraz - Chavin de Huantar - Huaraz |

A four hour drive over spectacular mountain roads takes us to a famous temple called Chavin de Huantar which is honeycombed with interior galleries, some of which can be explored. You will be able to appreciate pyramidal buildings and the famous 'Cabezas Clavas', mythical figures in high and low relief. We return to Huaraz in the late afternoon to take a well deserved rest in our hotel. |

| Day 4: Huaraz - Lima ó Trujillo |

After breakfast you travel back to Lima or you continue your journey to Trujillo.
Note: If your book this trip in Shared Services or Private Services (Bus) and you decide to continue to Trujillo you will have the day at leisure. In the evening you will continue in bus to Trujillo where you will arrive on the next morning. |
