| Day 1:
Cusco - Cachora - Chiquisqa |

We leave from Cusco in the early morning towards Cachora, where we meet our wranglers and arrange our equipment on mules and horses. It is a 2 hour hike to Capuliyoc from where we have our first beautiful views of the Apurimac valley stretching below as well as the snow-capped peaks of Padrayoc and Wayna Cachora. after lunch we descend toward Chiquisqawhere the climate becomes noticeably warmer and the flora and fauna begin to change. Here we will set up camp and spend the night. |

| Day 2: Chiquisqa - Playa Rosalina - Sunchupata |

After breakfast we descend towards Playa Rosalina (1550 m) before we begin to climb a steep trail to Santa Rosa (2100 m). Along the way we can observe orchids and wild flowers as well as many different birds. After lunch we ascend until Maranpata (2850 m). We'll camp close to Sunchupata. |

| Day 3:
Sunchupata - Choquequirao - Chiquisqa |

Today we will reach Choquequirao. From Sunchupata it is a one hour hike until we reach our destiny. Our guide will explain the history and importance of the site. After visiting this impressive archeological site we will begin our way back via Sunchupata, Santa Rosa, Playa Rosalina until Chiquisqa, where we will camp. |

| Day 4:
Chiquisqa - Cachora - Cusco |

On our last day of trekking we will ascend slightly to Capuliyoc and finally to Cachora, where we will arrive about noon. From here we will take the bus back to Cusco.
